OPENING BOATING DAY

SAT – The official opening of Seattle’s boating season, sponsored by the Seattle Yacht Club, includes morning of crew races, a sailboat race, and a boat parade.

CINCO DE MAYO CARNIVAL

FRI-SUN – Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style, with carnival rides, games, live music, NASCAR races, a gun show and much more!

TACO LIBRE TRUCK SHOWDOWN

SUN – Seattle’s largest taco competition festival returns to Fremont, spanning over two blocks.

SEATTLE BIKE N BREWS

SUNAn urban ride for those who appreciate city riding and quality Pacific Northwest microbrews. Pedal along the Duwamish and Green River Trails from Georgetown to Tukwila, taking in city views along the way, and return to the finish line party for cold brews and food.

MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL

SAT-SUN19th annual festival of merriment, feasting while enjoying the beauty of Spring in the countryside. Medieval clothing is encouraged, but optional. Greens, yellows, and a chaplet for your hair are preferred on this occasion. Clothing rentals are available.

SEATTLE BEER WEEK

Through May 14Bars and breweries throughout the Seattle area host dozens of beer tasting and food pairing events.

DEBACLE FEST

SAT – A total 24 performances will be shared from all walks of experimental life, from lush soundscapes to off-the-wall psych freak outs and harsh industrial noise.

SPRING FAIRY FESTIVAL

SAT – A celebration of art, music, performance and community. Designed  to let people of all ages come together to express and enjoy one another’s creativity.

WEEKEND BRUNCH CRUISE

SAT – Enjoy a lavish brunch buffet and the spectacular views of Seattle as you relax in the comfort of a beautiful Waterways yacht.

CHILDREN’S DAY FESTIVAL

SUN – A fun and exciting introduction to the rich world of children’s culture in Japan. The JCCCW welcomes families in the community to take part in the Kodomo no Hi festival as an opportunity to experience multiculturalism while celebrating the health and growth of all children. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees can enjoy activities like Japanese style dancing performances, Yukata dress up, taiko, martial arts, kids’ tea.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Through May 21Four lovers cross spotlights with squabbling supernaturals and a bumbling rube, creating backstage comic chaos. The fairy Puck sorts it out before the act gets the hook, leaving us with a show stopper that brings down the house.

THE SECRET GARDEN

Through SAT – A story of great love, loss, sadness and joy. A tale of a young orphaned girl sent to live with a reclusive uncle in a crumbling mansion overrun with spirits of the past. Stunning sets and costumes, a gorgeous score and lush storytelling.

FIRE STATION 7

Through May 21 – This hilarious new musical comedy for all ages seamlessly integrates the seven rules of fire safety in a rock n’ roll performance, and is both educational and entertaining.

MURDER FOR TWO

Through June 11 – A drop-dead funny murder mystery musical with a twist: one actor investigates the crime; the other plays all the suspects—and they both play the piano!

MATINEE CABARET

Through May 28 – A brand new, family friendly extravaganza from the creative team at Can Can Kitchen & Cabaret. This show combines history with high-kicks, culinary delicacies with world-class cabaret, providing a tour of the historic Pike Place Market.

MONA LISA HEIST

All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
EVERY THURS, FRI, SAT – Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

LASER LIGHT SHOWS
ALL MONTH – Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

SEATTLE SMASH PUTT

All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.

SCAVENGER HUNT ADVENTURE
ALL MONTH – Enjoy this interactive scavenger hunt that takes you on a journey to see the best sights in the city while feeling like you are on the Amazing Race.
